How Twitter Is Turning Around Kid's Style

Children are becoming more stylish these days. In the past it was all about shopping at stores like children's place and old navy for baby. But lately things have changed drastically. With more of the top brands creating children's clothing lines, babies are rolling in those strollers with style.

Girls are dressed in blazers, poofy dresses and even high heels. But the boys fashion has definitely been improved. Before there were very limited options for them: simple shirts in different colors, jeans, shorts, and sweaters but that was about it. Now the boys are rocking bow ties! Prom 2015: Pinterest Style!

With prom season in effect, this is the time to step up that fashion game. And that yes that goes for you too gentlemen. Ladies are wearing red carpet gowns, with the hottest shoes they can find. But that only means you need to match her to the T. Now don't think that because prom is only a one night thing, you can just rent a suit for the night and return it back. That's the wrong idea. So I've got some ideas that would make you look like the next model for Marc Jacobs or Versace.

The first thing is to find out the style of dress your date is wearing so you match her. Next, you need to figure out how "fancy schmancy" you want to get. But it's always better to be overdressed than underdressed. Now Pinterest has some great prom ideas for guys and girls under PROM 2015! Here you'll find ways to spice up that suit with a printed or bold colored bow tie.

So this prom season think about how you want to end your high school years. Leave a name for yourself and go into prom looking just as good as that lady on your arm.

How To Wear A Bow Tie

So the weather is warming up and that means more parties and events will be on calendar too. Now here comes the list of questions that start running through your mind. Like "what style should I wear?" or "are these colors too much?". But not to worry, I've got the answers for you....

Bow ties are usually worn at a formal event in the most common formal dress code > Black Tie. When you are attending an event that has a dress code, chances are that a standard black tuxedo must be worn with a black bow tie. Grab a matching cumberbund or a waistcoat and you're ready for that fancy dinner. But stay away from the bright colors and patterns or you'll definitely be the elephant in the room.

For semi-formal events, this is the time to experiment with some different patterns, colors and textures for those bow ties. Mix in some velvet, tweed or other textures for a little extra fun. You can then pair your bow tie with a pocket square that completes your whole look.

When attending casual events, it's safe to say that there are no limits to what you can wear. This is the perfect time to break the "fashion rules". Whatever you choose to pair together, whether it is a plaid shirt with an orang bow tie or a striped bow tie with polka dot socks > go for it!

Who Runs The World: KIDS!

Sure we've seen some insane things this generation has done and all you can do is shake your head. But there are a few individuals that are making their mark in a positive way, and one in particular has has had more success in the past few years than many adults.

Moziah Bridges is one of the youngest sought-after menswear designers. He started making bow ties at the age of 9 after his grandmother taught him how to sew scraps of material together to create a tie. Now, 12-year-old Moziah is the CEO of his own bow tie company "Mo's Bows," with 5 employees and brings in close to $100,000 in sales. While growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, Bridges always liked to dress well and wear bow ties but there never seemed to be a wide enough selection for kids. So he decided to make and sell his own.

"Mo's Bows" are available for purchase through his Etsy store and in boutiques in South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. His businesses has gotten plenty of attention being featured in Vogue, GQ, on ABC's Shark Tank and the Today Show. This young entrepreneur already has a number of high profile clients interested in his work like Steve Harvey and President Barack Obama, and he's just getting started so stay tuned...

National Bow Tie Day?

If you haven't noticed, bow ties are back in effect and are more popular than ever. But I'm sure you haven't heard about the holiday "National Bow Tie Day"; well neither have I. Okay so it's not so much of a big deal everywhere but more like an "unofficial" national holiday that is celebrated on August 28th in the United States. It is strange to find out that the creator of this holiday is still unknown...

The bow tie set the new fashion trend apart from the necktie in the early 17th century. It was introduced when the French soldiers brought the cravat back to France following the Thirty Years War.

Over the years , bow ties have been leaving neckties in the dust when it comes to its popularity in the media and on the internet. The number of google searches for bow ties have gone up while the trend for neckties have gone down, 31.4 million to 12.3 million in google searches. So on August 28th, put on your sharpest bow tie and make a statement!

This Is A WO-man's World....

Like many areas of the world, women have been taking over the fashion scene. It has become clear that we are no longer restricted when it comes to our male counterparts. We have no redefined what it means to be "feminine". Celebrities like Janelle Monae, Rihanna and Beyonce are some of the few who have put a spin on the fashion world and wearing ties. Bow ties have not only made a great fashion statement but showcase that femininity knows no boundaries.

I mean sure bow ties look good on men, and women do take a second look when they see a man wearing one but times have changed. We have become a society that strives for gender equality and the end to the "double standards" and fashion is a major part of that fight. We can wear what we want and should always have the freedom to do so. Anything men can do, women can do better. But you didn't hear that from me....
