While growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, Bridges always liked to dress well and wear bow ties but there never seemed to be a wide enough selection for kids. So he decided to make and sell his own. 

"Mo's Bows" are available for purchase through his Etsy store and in boutiques in South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. His businesses has gotten plenty of attention being featured in Vogue, GQ, on ABC's Shark Tank and the Today Show. This young entrepreneur already has a number of high profile clients interested in his work like Steve Harvey and President Barack Obama, and he's just getting started so stay tuned...

Okay so it's not so much of a big deal everywhere but more like an "unofficial" national holiday that is celebrated on August 28th in the United States. It is strange to find out that the creator of this holiday is still unknown...

The bow tie set the new fashion trend apart from the necktie in the early 17th century. It was introduced when the French soldiers brought the cravat back to France following the Thirty Years War.

The number of google searches for bow ties have gone up while the trend for neckties have gone down, 31.4 million to 12.3 million in google searches.
